IGC Offers a Smarter Way to View, Annotate and Publish Content
Content security has recently gained importance for many commercial, industrial, and government facilities. Informative Graphics Corporation"IGC," a developer of commercial software products for viewing, collaboration and redaction and an accredited Designed for EMC (News - Alert) partner, has announced that it will be demonstrating the newest version of its Brava! 6.2 web-based viewing and collaboration tool for EMC Documentum Webtop 6.5.
This new Brava includes new redaction features, additional language support and the new, zero-footprint Brava Flash Viewer. It is ideal for securely sharing documents. Brava for Documentum offers simple, web-based viewing, annotation, redaction, and publishing. With this product, it is easy to view, annotate and collaborate on virtually any file, including office and PDF documents, CAD drawings, and image files such as TIFF and JPG. Gary Heath, president and CEO of IGC stated that with Brava 6.2 the company has expanded its language support and added some great redaction tools that make it even easier to protect privacy and sensitive information. Brava Flash Viewer allows users to access documents using any browser or Flash-enabled device and does not require any files to be transferred or installed on the client. The new version also features redaction enhancements including the ability to redact a list of people's names, create a log of all redaction reasons used in a document, and find and redact all text between specified words or phrases. Some other features of Brava 6.2 for Webtop include: -Cut and paste annotations between Brava windows. -Markup text can be entered right to left, increasing support for Arabic and other languages with right-to-left scripts. -User machines automatically install the appropriate localized Brava viewer for German, French, Spanish, Korean, Simplified Chinese, and Japanese operating systems. -Turn on and off various menu items to reduce clutter of unused items.
