Voxeo Corporation, a provider of Interactive Voice Response and Voice over IP platforms and services, is reporting that it’s achieved record growth and announcing further expansion as a global provider of on-premise software and on-demand SaaS (News - Alert) telephony platforms.

 

For the period of July 2007 to June 2008, Voxeo’s (News - Alert) revenue increased 99.7 percent compared to the prior 12-month period. In North America and Europe, revenues grew 94 percent and 470 percent respectively. Voxeo says its performance significantly outpaced revenue growth seen by a peer group of eighteen leading public SaaS companies, which saw a 48 percent mean increase in revenues over the same period.

 

Voxeo Europe, launched in 2006, has already become one of the largest providers of standards-based IVR hosting in Europe.

 

Industry insiders say Voxeo is on an expansion spree.

The company this week announced the acquisition of Micromethod (News - Alert) Technologies, a provider of standards-based IP-communication platforms. Micromethod is based in Beijing, and is the springboard from which a new Voxeo Asia-Pacific subsidiary is being launched.

 

Voxeo Asia-Pacific will focus on the development, delivery, sales, and support of all Voxeo products and customers in Asia. The acquisition and expansion will accelerate Voxeo’s growth in Europe and North America while also claiming new opportunities in Asia.
