By Carlos Olivera, TMCnet Content Producer

This week in IVR news, we saw the unveiling of a program designed to engage more interaction amongst international contact center solutions and the launch of a new short-range wireless module that will help Telit Wireless (News - Alert) with its transition to the wireless network. Let’s dive right in.

Nuance Communications announced plans to reveal a program that will help the interaction amongst international contact center solutions. Nuance (News - Alert) Connection will offer the contact centers a sophisticated voice and natural language solutions.

Nuance connection will first be available for Nuance Communications (News - Alert) associates and will offer a competitive gain in customer engagement approaches, sales and product education and other support and sales features.

“Consumer expectations for how they interact with companies have grown, and so has demand and opportunity for intelligent self-service solutions. Nuance natural language understanding technology gives our partners an advantage to benefit from this growing demand, and Nuance Connections will give them the sales, marketing and training needed to win,” said Dan Nordale, VP, Marketing, Nuance Enterprise.

With wireless networks continuing to gain traction and grow in popularity, companies are finding themselves having to migrate over to a wireless network. Telit Wireless Solutions has introduced its latest innovation, LE70-868 point-to-point, star-topology, short-range wireless module.

"The LE70-868 was designed to help manufacturers of electronic devices which have traditionally been cable-networked go wireless quickly and easily,' said Dominikus Hierl, chief marketing officer at Telit Wireless Solutions.

The new LE70-868 should help operators with the shift from a wire-network model over to wireless and it also helps them comply with regulatory requirements.

“The LE70-868 follows the engineering tradition of all our cellular and short-range modules, with industry-topping performance and features that can significantly lower BOM cost and engineering complexity. Our customers further benefit from the extensive know how in RF design from our R&D and Support organizations which collaborate with them," Hierl added.
