Plum Voice Makes Data Collection Easy for Pollsters
By Mandira Srivastava, TMCnet Contributor
Plum Voice has come up with an exclusive program for pollsters that enable them to make data collection easier, faster, and more accurate. In a statement, the company announced a special offer of free access to its Web, facebook, phone and twitter survey creation platform for pollsters who sign up for an IVR or SMS account.
So, those who use Plum’s IVR survey tool can create and deploy surveys over the Web, mobile devices and social media free of cost, needing only pay for phone and SMS. The primary objective of the data collection is to enable the policymakers and researchers to take correct decisions.
“This is part of our ongoing efforts to make data collection easy and cost-effective for pollsters,” said Plum Voice CEO Andy Kuan. “We want them to be able to cast the widest net possible over diverse populations that use different communication tools.”
Additionally, Plum Voice’s survey platform provides pollsters the full range of communication mediums to reach their audience, while also offering online surveys that are optimized for mobile devices.
“A text invites you to take a survey,” said Kuan. “The link takes you to the online survey, which automatically scales to fit your mobile device and then operates with your device’s touch screen. Convenient, quick and easy.Suppose if you’ve designed a survey, you can automatically disseminate it out to Web, phone, text and social media – reaching the most respondents possible. Pollsters can furthermore design call flows by point-and-click, create audio prompts via phone and design their surveys from a palette of 17 types of questions – editing it all as they go.
Plum Voice is also offering the Plum Survey Builder that enables pollsters to create surveys in minutes through its user-friendly, menu-driven interface.
