Authentidate (News - Alert) has received a group purchasing agreement by the Premier healthcare alliance for the provision of remote patient monitoring telehealth solutions in the Premier Physiological Monitoring, Vital Signs category.

Authentidate Holding provides secure web-based software applications and telehealth products and services for healthcare organizations, and the Premier healthcare alliance is a national performance improvement organization comprised of more than 2,500 U.S. hospitals and 80,000-plus other healthcare sites using the power of collaboration to lead the transformation to high quality, cost-effective care.

Following this agreement, Authentidate's Electronic House Call (EHC) Kiosk, and Interactive Voice Response (IVR) solutions can be purchased by the members of the Premier healthcare alliance.

Authentidate's remote patient monitoring telehealth solutions provide frequent updates of patient vital signs and related data to healthcare providers. Healthcare providers can set-up tailored monitoring sessions to meet specific patient needs and easily oversee patients who have chronic diseases.

The EHC and the multi-user Kiosk touch screen devices connect to a range of industry-standard peripherals that measure patient vital signs. The IVR service allows patients to answer their session questions and enter their vital signs data verbally or using the key pad from any touch tone phone.
