Voice Assist (News - Alert), a developer of hosted speech services and voice in-application technology, and QOS Telcom announced that they have entered into a private label agreement.

As per the agreement, QOS Telcom will OEM Voice Assist's speech services to offer a single voice user experience for accessing services through mobile devices and video phones.

The agreement will assist QOS Telecom to expand to global market. QOS Telcom is planning to market its new speech based services in the U.S., Canada, Asia, Europe, Africa and the Middle East.

“Voice Assist is pleased to be chosen by QOS as the enabler for a new generation of multi-media communication solutions,” said Michael Metcalf, chairman and CEO of Voice Assist, in a statement. “Our cloud-based solution empowers QOS to provide a compelling communications service worldwide for an increasingly mobile workforce.”

The Voice Assist cloud-based speech platform enables users to increase productivity using any mobile phone or IP-connected device.

When paired with a Bluetooth headset, this technology offers perfect hands-free driving solution, enabling the user to make calls, send or respond to text messages and e-mails, or post to social networks such as Facebook and Twitter, all by voice.

“QOS is bringing high quality video conferencing and the power of voice recognition together to provide enhanced communication services to business clients and high end residential communities,” said Sameer Bashrahil, founder and chairman of QOS Telcom. “The combination of our products with Voice Assist's superior technology will give our users an excellent way to be more productive.”

Recently, Voice Assist and Jabra announced they joined hands to offer complete end-to-end, hands-free solutions for consumers and enterprise users alike. Users can increase productivity using any mobile phone or IP-connected device at work, at home, on the road and on the roam.
