You will surely be not lost in translation this time around. Velaro, Inc., the developer of the multi-award winning click-to-chat product, has introduced its real-time chat translation feature powered by Google (News - Alert) Translate translation service to help companies and individuals in this matter.
Velaro supports the use of many different languages to assist in the ease in which chat is handled across the world. Velaro supports the use of many different languages and has a built in language translator which allows the user to automatically translate a chat, to a specified language, in real time.
With Velaro’s click-to-chat translation feature, a visitor to the web site can simply select his/her preferred language from a menu before the live chat session starts. Once selected, Velaro’s chat service will automatically update the web site visitor’s interface with the selected language. Companies can also allow different language-based versions of their web site to automatically offer live chat in the specified language by setting entire departments to a specific language.
“E-commerce has become a mainstay for businesses around the world. Year-on-year growth in global e-commerce has been growing at more than 40 percent. If a company wants to compete in this market it is critical that it be able to conduct business in multiple languages. Velaro has been setting the bar in click-to-chat communication for over 10 years, and this is no exception.” said Alex Bloom (News - Alert), president of Velaro.
One of the major features of the Velaro’s language facility is all the translation takes place in the background. This provides a fluid conversation and to the user, it will appear as if he/she is chatting up with someone from his own language.
In June 2009, the company signed an agreement with Eugene based Palo Alto Software, a provider of business Plan software and marketing plan software, to integrate the company’s click-to-chat Software as a Service, or “SaaS (News - Alert),” with Palo Alto Software’s Email Center Pro, a Web 2.0 SaaS e-mail management tool. This partnership is aimed at bringing additional value to online businesses.
