Voxeo and Remego Partner to Target APAC Call Centers

An Orlando-based provider of unlocked communications platforms including interactive voice response, or “IVR” technology has announced it is working with a Singapore-based provider of IVR and call center services in a bid to target the rapidly growing APAC market with their solutions.

 
According to officials with Voxeo (News - Alert), the partnership and reseller agreement was signed with Remego to bring open standards-based communications software to enterprise-class contact centers in the region.
 
John Amein, senior vice president of Strategic Partnerships at Voxeo said, “Remego is a terrific partner for us because they have the knowledge and expertise to use Voxeo software to knock down old legacy barriers and introduce breakthrough solutions that unlock the neglected potential of communications.”
 
To help contact centers in the region, which were typically built with proprietary components, Remego will now offer platform-independent and multi channel solutions -empowering contact centers to expand and innovate.

Specifically, contact centers will be able to use Voxeo’s open technology platform in IVR, IM, SIP, VoiceXML (News - Alert), CCXML and mobile Web for better unified communications and lower implementations and maintenance costs.
 
“We are totally convinced that the combination of Voxeo’s superior technology and Remego's knowledge of the APAC market will benefit both involved organizations,” said Ho, Chan Kwoon, director at Remego.
