LBi Strikes Partnership Deal with Genesys to Offer IVR Platform
By Susan J. Campbell, TMCnet Contributing Editor
LBi Software Engineering has announced the expansion of its product line to offer an IVR Platform from Genesys Telecommunications Laboratories Inc.
This partnership now offers automated self-service solutions designed specifically for Human Capital Management HCM enterprise applications.
“The key component of this partnership is based on quality of service that we provide to our clients,” says Richard Teed, president of LBi Software Engineering, Inc. “After extensive research and a review of Gartner’s magic quadrant for IVR/CTI vendors, we determined Genesys (News - Alert) was the natural choice.”

With the Genesys platform, LBi is able to build, integrate and convert any IVR application from other providers to the Genesys platform. As a result, clients have a single source for their telephony user interface needs.
There has been a significant increase over the last couple of years for employees to have both Web and IVR access. This increase is mainly driven by more individuals working remotely and organizations scaling back on their administrative processes.

LBi recognizes these trends to create an environmentally conscious workplace and provides their clients with new choices in applications designed to streamline updates to the same back-end HCM software.
“Having implemented dozens of successful IVR applications, many with CTI (News - Alert) capability, we are now in a position to provide a total solution with seamless integration for our clients,” Teed said.
LBi can now offer an IVR platform either as a packaged IVR application or a more complete customized solution so users can build speech recognition capabilities right into the Voice User Interface and include a speaker verification option for added fraud detection.

LBi announced earlier this summer that General Dynamics (News - Alert) is implementing its CaseManager for Human Resources Help Desk, proving the company continues to broaden its market reach. Even with the current economic struggles, companies still must have specific tools in place to drive productivity and efficiency. As long as these elements are essential, so is LBi.
