SpinVox, the creator of the Voice-to-Screen messaging has received four industry awards over the past 30 days. According to the company, these awards re-enforce SpinVox’s (News - Alert) reputation for innovation, excellence and carrier-grade delivery.
The company converts voice messages into text and allowing users to receive messages an SMS on their mobile phone or email on their computer or PDA.
Contesting with more than 400 companies, SpinVox won the prestigious TechCrunch Europa ‘Best Mobile Application’ award voted on by the industry. In addition, the company won the ‘Business Service Innovation’ award from Global Telecoms Business magazine for the launch of its Telstra’s (News - Alert) Voice2Text service.
SpinVox also won the ‘Silver Award for Mobile Messaging’ at Juniper Research’s Future Mobile Awards event and 160 Characters, the SMS and Mobile Messaging Association, awarded SpinVox for `Innovation in Messaging’ for the SpinVox VoxLinks, which allows people to ‘speak a text’ rather than thumb-type the messages.

Recently, SpinVox announced a new reverse-charge SMS text service, 0800TXTMUM, will be launched into the New Zealand market soon. This service helps children to contact their parents by phone even when the battery fails or there is no signal.
