Bradofino, Augme Mobile Bring Mobile Marketing Technology to Pharma
By Shamila Janakiraman, TMCnet Contributor
Brandofino Communications, Inc. and Augme Mobile, Inc. reportedly have announced the formation of “Augme Mobile Health,” which will bring mobile marketing technology to the pharmaceutical industry.
Brandofino publishes Doctor’s Digest and Augme Mobile specializes in Consumer Mobile Response technology.
Augme technology is capable of applying traditional and interactive media into existing consumer mobile and smartphone usage patterns. It enhances customer response by allowing them to register on a Web site for rebate/coupon offers or through writing to companies for patient brochures. Mobile phone users can instantly access Pharma brand’s offerings on their device screens itself by sending a TEXT or SMS message instead of calling an 800 number for patient information.
The company also offers emerging interaction by 2D Coding, Shazam visual scanning and audio voice recognition – a form of “interactive voice response,” or “IVR.” The company’s proprietary technology allows Pharma brands to deliver relevant information and offers, to all kinds of mobile devices from any platform or carrier instantaneously.
Augme offers patented Modavox behavioral tracking, analytics and database targeting capabilities, and works seamlessly with Pharma brands’ existing physician and patient databases. Modavox specializes in online communications and has several contextual targeting patents.
“Brandofino Communications is a leader in e-marketing and emerging mobile innovation for consumers and healthcare professionals, making them an excellent partner for us. Mobile marketing is currently sweeping the consumer packaged goods industry,” commented Anthony Iacovone, President and Founder of Augme Mobile, Inc.
Brandofino Communications offers e-marketing and emerging technologies in the publishing field, including print and e-subscriptions, vodcasts, podcasts and an iPhone (News - Alert) application for its flagship publications.
Jeannette Brandofino publisher of Brandofino said, “I see so many possibilities for mobile technology for physicians and patients, and am thrilled to be working with Augme. Augme Mobile Health technology will now be encrypted to fulfill HIPAA requirements and will be fully PhRMA-compliant.”
