SpeechStorm Announces Healthy Growth

By Vivek Naik, TMCnet Contributor

SpeechStorm (News - Alert) announced that since it has experienced healthy and repeated quarterly growth, it appointed three new sales staff and one marketing resource in a bid to further propel revenue expansion.

“We are enjoying significant growth across European markets for our phone self-service solutions,” said Oliver Lennon, CEO of SpeechStorm. “We are pushing the envelope in technology innovation and our speech and video applications offer real value and return on investment; deliverables that underpin our continued success.”
Joining the company is Nina Kalra as Marketing Manager who will oversee and manage marketing and communication strategies.
“Nina will play a pivotal role in helping SpeechStorm to deliver hard-hitting marketing campaigns that capitalise on our innovation and expertise and help to increase our market penetration and success,” said Lennon.
Also, the sales team strength is shored with Jaku Pawelczak, a native Polish speaking major account manager; Andy Hill who handled new business sales opportunities in Britain, and Eoin McCarthy who sold solutions to small and medium enterprises in Ireland.
“I am delighted that we have attracted this extensive talent in Nina, Jakub, Andy and Eoin to help us deliver on our goals in the UK, Ireland and Europe,” said Lennon. “Jakub, Andy and Eoin are seasoned sales professionals whose expertise will further deepen our share of the phone self service market and open new territories and business opportunities for us and our partners.”
Recently, the company showcased its latest product, Interactive Voice and Video Response (IVVR) or Visual IVR, a two-way, intelligent video and voice software that delivers live video streaming on 3G handsets by either pressing Dual-Tone Multi-Frequency (DTMF) buttons on the mobile handsets or by activating pre-defined voice commands.
TMCnet reported that Visual IVR applications offer end users a new, intuitive and quicker way to transact using a simple video call on the mobile phone. This also gives a visual representation of service options.  This move is especially important as Europe is showing increasing acceptance of Visual IVR as a result of the growth and proliferation of the 3G network and as mobile phones have become more accessible and quicker to use than laptops.
