Oxygen8 Intros Mobile Platform with IPTV, IVR, CRM Capabilities

Oxygen8 Communications reportedly has announced that it’s offering a series of new, discounted SMS rates to mark the launch of a new interactive mobile platform.

 

The rates are available on all mobile networks, including T-Mobile, Orange, 3, O2 and Vodafone (News - Alert). Oxygen8 said that the mobile platform is targeted at corporate entities, broadcasters and media brands that are looking to maximize digital media revenues.

 

Colin White, chief executive officer of Oxygen8, said his company is offering all media companies highly competitive SMS rates, “supported by a Mobile platform that makes running Voice, Mobile and Web services easy, while also offering the ability to roll these services out internationally.”

 

White said that for companies which utilize mobile messaging as part of their interactive communications strategy, using the right mobile platform will determine their success rate.

 

“Faster message throughput will increase billing collections, yet this can often be overlooked whilst focus is given to less important features,” White said.

 

Also, White said, the new Oxygen8 Mobile platform provides built-in ready-made services and applications, which make communicating in business simple and easy for those running their own services as well as resellers.

 

The Oxygen8 Mobile platform includes: mobile messaging as SMS and MMS; mass broadcast in the form of voice, SMS and email; 3G video Calls; IVR; WAP; IPTV (News - Alert); and CRM.

 

Company sources added that the Oxygen8 Mobile platform has already been trialed successfully in Ireland and Australia and a majority of customers had reported a significant increase in revenues as a result of using the platform.

 

Stating that the Oxygen8 Mobile platform was scalable, officials said its ability to handle hundreds of SMS messages per second and hundreds of connections, enables their customers to increase billing collections and bottom-line profits.
