GotVoice Showcases G2 Convergence Communications Platform at ITEXPO

By Richard Grigonis, Executive Editor, IP Communications Group

As carriers and IP communications providers attending ITEXPO (News - Alert) West in Los Angeles search the exhibit hall for ways to upgrade and differentiate their services quickly, many of them have discovered GotVoice, which recently launched its GotVoice G2 (News - Alert) convergence communications platform.

With its real-time voicemail-to-text transcription capabilities, GotVoice G2 relies on an advanced voicemail transcription engine that allows seamless access to any existing Interactive Voice Response (IVR) and/or voicemail system, as well as voicemail-to-text conversion, all without the need for infrastructure upgrades or capital outlays.

GotVoice technology is known for its ability to receive, consume and unify voice communications utilizing e-mail clients, through their mobile phone interface or via the GotVoice Web site. Its features include voicemail-to-text, visual voicemail, and ability to share voice messages as digital audio files and the unification of wireless, landline, PBX (News - Alert) and VoIP voicemail.

GotVoice G2 thus gives carriers a way to deliver their subscribers’ voicemail as both text and digital audio files via e-mail and SMS, creating additional revenue streams and increased data traffic. It supports millions of users and interoperates with all major works with all major mobile, business and residential VoIP carriers. Best of all, GotVoice G2 is available today and providers can integrate it into their existing voicemail system via OEM, APIs, white label and hosted solutions.

At ITEXPO today, GotVoice announced voicemail server support for IP-based voice systems. GotVoice is publicizing its ability to easily interface directly with any VoIP or IP-based service provider to convert voicemail into text without altering the legacy infrastructure.

“Some of our latest partnerships with IP-based telephony companies include SimpleSignal, IPhiphany and CallTower,” stated Curt Blake, CEO of GotVoice. “For example, in the case of CallTower, we can seamlessly integrate its business-class solution with Microsoft (News - Alert) Corporation's Exchange Server to enable CallTower's customers to read their voicemail in email. We’ve perfected the art of integrating with many different kinds of voice messaging systems. Combine that with the fact that our voicemail-to-text technology enjoys remarkable accuracy because it has been trained against millions of voicemails, and you’ll soon realize that we’re the perfect choice to enhance customer productivity, not to mention boost service provider revenues, and at a price everyone can afford.”
