Language Weaver, a human communication solution, has announced today that Babylon Ltd., a provider of single-click translation and dictionary software, has deployed Language Weaver to power its online consumer translation solution.

 

The single-click translation and dictionary service suite from Babylon will integrate with Language Weaver’s Enterprise Translation On Demand. This new software as a Service (SaaS (News - Alert)) model is designed to deliver high-speed automated translation technology based on open standards such as HTTP, SSL and XML.

 

Language Weaver’s SaaS solution offers real-time translation capabilities to Babylon subscribers across 60 languages. Such capability ensures that the company can extend its reach across various markets to grab more consumer wallet.

 

Alon Carmeli, Babylon CEO noted in a Monday statement, '' Babylon is currently installed on some 50 million desktops around the world. Based on our customers’ requests, we are adding a text translation service to all of our solutions.”
