VION Mobile, a provider of rich media content and applications for social networks, operators and content providers, today announced that it has partnered with GreenCity Concept to launch VION Mobile’s interactive gaming portal, Viwawa, in Brunei.

 

GreenCity Concept is a supplier of IVR premium call technology management, SMS gateways and event marketing in Brunei, Thailand and Malaysia. This latest partnership is expected to bring Viwawa to Brunei’s approximately 200,000 Internet users.

 

The Viwawa social gaming environment combines social networking tools, Web 2.0 Chat technology, an avatar creation engine and multiplayer games, and supplies users a community to trade gaming strategies, instigate trash talk and make new friends.

 

VION Mobile’s officials said that with all the Viwawa’s interactive games and social activities being accessible through Internet interaction and/or mobile handset, it is “a truly mobile community.”

 

Chin Toon, managing director at GreenCity Concept, said that launching Viwawa is an extension of GreenCity Concept's plan to offer Brunei's Internet users the latest technology in online communities.

 

He also said that by giving Brunei’s Internet users a place to game and socialize, “we will connect a community” that is interested in the advancement of technology and telecommunications in Brunei.

 

“We are confident in GreenCity Concept's ability to market Viwawa's gaming and social networking attributes and its plan to use Viwawa as marketing tool for their other clients,” added Jim Capps, president of VION Mobile.
