IVR Provider Mobile Direct Enters Partnership with LBS Company SinT

By Chris DiMarco, TMCnet Web Editor

Mobility has become an inescapable factor of technological evolution. From basic note taking and email to business and proposal software, development for phones and other handheld devices is essential in today’s wired world.   Nowhere is this more the case than in the fields of advertisement and marketing. To that effect mobile marketing and advertisement company SinT Mobile and IVR provider Mobile Direct have announced a partnership that will aim to capitalize on the projected $16 billion industry.

The Seattle based SinT Mobile, Inc. (Stay-in-Touch), is a location based service (LBS) provider serving mobile users worldwide. SinT has developed location based technologies using a method that can broadcast deals to a passing customer’s mobile phone.  What separates the company from other location based developers is their ability to extend this service to all mobile phones, not just smartphones.

Mobile Direct Response (MDR) provides an IVR that allows a mobile consumer to dial #250 and request coupons and deals by mention specific key words. Their strategy is to offer customers a fast way to access deals rather than requiring them to navigate through menus. MDR is based in Kansas City.

"From gaming clients in Las Vegas to hospitality patrons in Hawaii to people calling for a taxi in Kansas City, SinT Mobile and MDR offer easy-to-use solutions for companies of any kind, any size to entice customers to receive real-time offers and promotions targeted to a specific geographic area," said Raj Karan, CMO & founder of SinT Mobile Inc.

By bringing these two solutions together, companies will have an easy way market based on location and customers will have a way to follow up using a self service via IVR. Karan says, “"Our services are designed to help global partners reduce communications costs and provide a one-stop solution for SMS, geo-location, and IVR. The targeted messaging can be deployed as a stand-alone solution or be integrated with existing infrastructures.”
