SpatialPoint, TechnoCom Partner to Enhance Location Services for Enterprise Customers

By Tammy Wolf, TMCnet Copy Editor

Wireless users on-the-move will now have an improved experience in the locating of brick-and-mortar businesses, thanks to a new partnership between TechnoCom (News - Alert) Corporation and SpatialPoint, which will bring its location and communications solutions for enterprise customers to the TechnoCom Location Platform, a Web services location and messaging solution that operates across all carriers and devices.

The combination of SpatialPoint’s widely-used store locator and TechnoCom’s permission-based services will allow for an efficient method of locating a customer, whether they call from a landline or mobile device. More than 300 million phone users throughout the U.S. will have access to TechnoCom’s location and messaging services, due to its openness to all carriers and lack of a pre-loaded application.

This collaboration aims to amp up customer traffic to brick-and-mortar businesses, such as stores, ATMs and branches. According to TechnoCom president, Masoud Motamedi, the partnership between the two solutions providers will provide improved location technologies to customers, thus enhancing its customer relationships.

"Our enterprise clients have SpatialPoint solutions that their customers use to find stores, ATMs, and branches using web and IVR interfaces,” said Alex Machinis, SpatialPoint president. “With TechnoCom's services, customers will not be required to know or input their location by address or zip code, which will be especially helpful to customers on the move using wireless devices. Businesses can deliver faster, more accurate location results, improving the customer experience. The net benefit is that our enterprise customers will see even greater return from their initiatives that drive customers to their stores.”
