IVR Technologies, Bulletin.Net Provide Integrated Voice Solution to VoIP Operators

IVR Technologies, an advanced software development company, specializing in IP-based services, SIP trunking and real-time billing solutions announced a partnership with Bulletin.net, an emerging leader in the global messaging market. The collaboration, according to the partners will enable network operators to provide enhanced services to their customers.


Bulletin.net offers a range of messaging products and services including SMS Text, IM, MMS and email to enable communication between computer or web applications and mobile phones or devices. The partnership between IVR Technologies (News - Alert) and Bulletin.net will result in the interoperability between IVR Technologies’ Talking SIP and the Bulletin.net SMS text services. This will provide the VoIP network operators with an integrated solution that can be supported by the mobile phones irrespective of their smart capabilities and allow them offer next-generation enhanced services to their customers. This will help them drive revenue and subscriber loyalty on the one hand, and help in reducing operating costs on the other hand.

According to the collaborating companies, VoIP network operators can now provide leading enhanced services that can be controlled via text messaging from any SMS enabled mobile phone or desktop computer. Supported operations in this initial integration include international callback, account balance updates, Class 5 feature management and voucher credit top-up.

The interoperability between Talking SIP (News - Alert) and the Bulletin.net SMS text services will provide subscribers with multiple modalities to manage their accounts, especially ones that can be performed from the palm of their hands. For the network operators, this will translate into growing customer base and enhanced subscriber loyalty. In addition, it will also help drive down administrative overhead and customer service burden for the next-generation service provider.

IVR Technologies' advanced software platform combines five traditionally separate network elements, application, media, real-time billing, location/registration and Class 5 services, into a single, tightly integrated server for SIP-based voice-over-IP networks.

Bulletin.net provides a global SMS Gateway (News - Alert) which enables mobile messages to be delivered from anywhere to anywhere around the world. This connectivity to the mobile wireless network, which is operated through a series of business partnerships, provides their clients with a complete end-to-end mobile messaging service and worldwide coverage.

Few months back, IVR Technologies completed interoperability testing with an important network operator, 360networks (News - Alert). TMCnet reported that the testing would enable service providers to take advantage of an end-to-end solution which will increase both revenue and subscribers to their networks while reducing operating costs and customer churn.
