AT&T Donates to United Way of Escambia County

AT&T announced a gift of $12,000 to United Way of Escambia County,
Florida.
The United Way of Escambia County will use the gift to continue its
work to create long-lasting community change. Nationally, the
organization works to advance the common good by focusing on education,
income and health. In Escambia County the United Way has a record of
supporting projects that address the basic building blocks of a good
life for the citizens of Escambia County.
AT&T supports the United Way nationally and in Escambia County through
direct contributions and employee gifts.
"At AT&T, our mission is to connect people to their world where they
live and work and do it better than anyone else," said Ray Dubuque,
AT&T Area Director - Legislative and External Affairs. "The United Way
of Escambia County supports programs that directly affect our community
and our citizens' lives, connecting them with resources and expertise
to improve their situation. The United Way also supports organizations
with proven results, which means that the support we give today has a
greater impact in Escambia County. We are pleased to support the United
Way of Escambia County."
