U4EA Technologies Appoints Curt Mason CFO

FREMONT, Calif. --(Business Wire)-- U4EA Technologies, Inc., a leading provider of integrated access technology for converged communications, today announced it has appointed Curt Mason as chief financial officer (CFO). A 20-year corporate finance veteran, Mason's responsibilities will encompass finance, IT, HR and administration for U4EA Inc. and U4EA Wireless.

"Curt is a seasoned CFO who has deep experience in financial management for rapid-growth high-tech companies," said Ken Epps, CEO of U4EA. Mason has more than two decades of experience successfully building and managing the finances of both public and private companies. He has held CFO positions at Intransa Inc., Procket Networks (sold to Cisco Systems) and Kagoor Networks (sold to Juniper). Mason has also held VP of finance roles at ChipPAC and AccSys Technology. As a licensed CPA, Mason also practiced as an audit and accounting professional for 14 years, servicing both international and local firms, including many technology start-ups. Mr. Mason holds a B.S. in Business Administration from the Haas School of Business, U.C.

In-stat estimates the worldwide market for MSBGs will grow from $615 million in 2006 to $2.6 billion by the year 2011.
