Cobra Electronics Increases Value of Power Inverter Products at Lower Price Points
CHICAGO --(Business Wire)-- Jan. 5, 2005 -- Cobra Electronics (NASDAQ:COBR) announced today an entire new line of power inverters that will offer consumers additional value-added features at new competitive price points. The 2005 line of power inverters provides users with uninterrupted access to AC voltage for equipment in the car, truck or RV, delivering a secure and dependable power source to a wide range of devices.
Cobra will offer four ultra-compact model options, which are as follows: The CPI 2550 with 2500-watts continuous power and 5000-watts peak; the CPI 1550 with 1500-watts continuous power and 3000-watts peak; the CPI 850 with 800-watts continuous power and 1600-watts peak; and the CPI 450 with 400-watts continuous power and 800-watts peak. The inverters continue to offer low voltage, overload and thermal shut-down protection and two to three AC outlets to enable the user to operate multiple devices. The CPI 450 and the CPI 850 will include a rugged carrying case.
